Joplin City Council to meet Monday night

The Joplin City Council will meet the night of Monday, July 21st.

Items on the agenda include a tax oversight committee update.

Also, the Council will be introduced to Eric Arganbright.

He is the new Director of Homelessness Response.

He comes to Joplin from Wichita, Kansas.

On first reading, the Council will consider an ordinance authorizing the approval of the 2025 Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan.

The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall at 602 S. Main.
