Missouri Lt. Governor Wasinger “state legislature is broken”

The Missouri constitution has a lot of extra content because of some of the amendments approved by voters.
Why are the amendments being approved?
Missouri Lt. Governor David Wasinger told Newstalk KZRG:
“Our state legislature is broken. I’ve made no secret that I think the Missouri rules over in the state senate need to be revised. And so what you’re having is these initiative petitions being funded by a lot of left wing billionaires as to abortion, gambling, they can’t get anything done in the state legislature because it’s dysfunctional.
One recent amendment was larger than the U-S Constitution.
