Sarah Burton still missing after seven years

Where is Sarah Burton?

This Sunday, July 20, 2025, marks the 7th year since Sarah Burton’s disappearance.

Since the investigation began, the Joplin Police Department has followed up on over 170 leads throughout
the four-state area.

She was last seen in the area of 10th and Rex in Joplin and was reported missing on July 20 of that year.

Even though it’s been seven long years, the Joplin Police Department says they welcome public assistance in the case.

Burton is described as 5”07, 160 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes.

She was 28 years old when she went missing.

The Joplin Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations are offering a $10,000
reward for information that may lead us to the location of Sarah.

They ask anyone that has any information to contact us.
