Neosho water system back to normal
Officials with the City of Neosho Public Works Department say all things are back to normal with that city’s water system.
The city experienced a major line break last Thursday. Problems with the line resulted in Neosho schools being closed last Friday.
Nate Siler, Neosho Public Works Director, says the city received water sample quality tests results back and all four tested negative for any harmful contaminants.
The boil-order that was in effect late last week was lifted Saturday afternoon, along with all other water conservation recommendations.
Siler said Saturday both affected towers are continuing to fill to recommended capacity.
