Galena man arrested in meth distribution case

A man from Galena, Kansas, is behind bars after he allegedly distributed meth in southeast Kansas.

An investigation by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Detectives over the past couple of months has led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for a Galena man.

On Tuesday afternoon, July 18, 2023, Sheriff’s Investigators located and arrested 44-year-old Caleb Helton.

Helton is being held in the Cherokee County Jail on allegations of Distributing Methamphetamine earlier this summer in Cherokee County.
