Wreck in Dade County results in moderate injuries to driver

A woman from Golden City received moderate injuries in an accident that happened around 9:25 Saturday night on MO 39, about two miles south of Arcola in Dade County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the wreck took place when a southbound 2016 Chevy Equinox driven by 27-year-old Rachel E. Sheets ran off the roadway, struck a fence and overturned several times.

Sheets was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

Sheets was subsequently arrested for misdemeanor DWI by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
