Motorcycle Accident Outside of Aurora Results in Serious Injuries

A motorcycle accident, just outside Aurora, sends two people to the hospital. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells News Talk KZRG that 55-year-old Mark Beitel of Marionsvile was making a left turn from Hwy 39 into a private driveway, when a motorcycle driven by 40-year-old David Cox attempted to pass and hit the side of the pickup truck. Cox and his passenger, 30-year-old Krista Merriman of Aurora, were transported to a Springfield hospital. Cox sustained serious injuries and Merriman sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
