4.0 quake shakes southeast Missouri

The USGS reports that a 4.0 magnitude earthquake shook parts of the Ozarks Wednesday night.

It took place around 8:53 PM with an epicenter about five miles SSE of Williamsville, near the Poplar Bluff area.

No reports of any damage have been reported.

That area sits near the New Madrid Fault Line.
