Jasper County may have a higher turn out of voters than originally expected

Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd.

Jasper County Clerk Charlie Davis tells Newstalk KZRG he thinks the expected turnout will be higher:

"You know, I had originally predicted about a 25% turnout. I think we're going to see a little bit higher. We look at the trends with absentee voting. We've had a pretty large uptick for the no excuse absentee voting. And I think it's good because people are being proactive."
