The annual Thomas Hart Benton Art Competition and Exhibition is on display at the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce through this afternoon (Friday) at 4 PM. The display is at 216 West Spring Street. Admission is free.

An adult (18 plus) comedy show will be tonight at 7:30 PM at the Carthage Memorial Hall at 407 South Garrison Avenue. Performing is Mikey B. from Dallas, Texas. His debut comedy special "Honorable Scumbag" has been earning some serious buzz for its wild personal stories, rapid-fire delivery and fearless point of view that doesn't pull punches. Tickets are $20 in advance or $30 at the door.

You can explore the Moses Carver Family Cemetery Saturday (October 24th) from 1 PM thru 2:00 PM with a park ranger. This 19th century cemetery has a storied history dating back to the pioneer days of 1830's Missouri. It's taking place at the George Washington Carver National just west of Diamond.

The Carthage Farmers Market offers a wide variety of fresh in-season produce, greenhouse plants, honey, jams, jelly, and baked goods.
They are hosting it at their covered pavilion, at 122 Grant Street in Carthage. It is sort of near the Carthage Civil War museum and Pete's convenience store.
