25-year-old Liberal man killed in Jasper County rollover crash

A 25-year-old man from Liberal, Missouri, was killed and a Joplin woman seriously injured in a rollover crash Tuesday night in Jasper County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened around 8:45 p.m. on Highway 43, 8 miles north of Airport Drive.
Investigators say the man was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 northbound when he hit two road-closed signs.
The pickup traveled off the right side of the roadway before the driver overcorrected, sending it off the left side of the highway, where it overturned multiple times.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:02 p.m.
The 36-year-old woman in his passenger seat suffered serious injuries.
Neither were wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
