Midterm elections not as busy as Presidential election years

What do you think?

During Presidential elections, in Jasper County, an average of about 65 percent of the registered voters get to the polls and vote.
For the midterms, voter turn out is usually lower.
Jasper County Clerk Charlie Davis tells Newstalk KZRG: "But I bet we probably have maybe 25, 26, 27% of the people show up to vote. It's just not a very sexy election in the even number of years. You know, we do have one statewide race. That's the auditor's race. We have our congressional races, of course, and then all of our county races are on the ballot plus the amendments."
The general election is November 3rd.
