Two Pittsburg women have been arrested in connection with the overdose death of a 35-year-old man more than a year ago.

Detectives arrested 43-year-old Talia Bree Blick-Davis and 29-year-old Sophea Helen Gonzalez on Friday.

Those arrests are connected to the Sept. 26, 2025, death of 35-year-old Ross W. Pitts, of Pittsburg.

Police said investigators began looking into Pitts' death that day and determined early in the investigation that it was believed to have resulted from a drug overdose.

Blick-Davis and Gonzalez were taken to the Crawford County Jail and booked without bond

Each faces felony charges of distribution of a controlled substance causing death, distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful distribution of a controlled substance using a communication facility.
