A Pittsburg, Kansas, woman is charged with distributing fentanyl that prosecutors say caused the death of a 35-year-old man last year.
43-year-old Talia Bree Davis-Blick faces three felony charges, including distribution of a controlled substance causing death.
A criminal complaint alleges Davis-Blick distributed fentanyl in Crawford County last September and that Ross Wade Pitts died as a result of using the drug.
Pitts, of Pittsburg, died Sept. 26, 2025, six days after the alleged distribution, according to his obituary. He was born in Chanute and graduated from Chanute High School in 2008.
The complaint was filed this week. Davis-Blick was booked into the Crawford County Jail Friday morning and is being held without bond.
The charges are allegations, as the investigation continues.
