Carthage Technical Center has been awarded a $20,000 Missouri FFA Foundation Grant to help continue developing the Carthage School Farm.
The grant will help fund an outdoor classroom, giving students a place to learn, explore, and experience agriculture firsthand right on the farm.
The space will also welcome K-8 students from across the district, giving even more Tigers the chance to experience hands-on agricultural learning.
There's another piece of this project that adds to the excitement.
Carthage Technical Center Carpentry students will help build the School Farm.
They will put their skills to work on a real-world project while creating a learning space that will serve students for years to come. The School Farm is becoming a place where programs can work together, younger students can discover something new, and our CTC students can put what they're learning into action.
The Technical Center expresses its thanks to the Missouri FFA Foundation and Missouri Department of Agriculture.
