Three injured in vehicle-Amish buggy accident in Bourbon County, kansas

Three people were injured in southeast Kansas on Monday after a vehicle hit an Amish buggy.

It happened on K-7 highway in Bourbon County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a GMC Sierra and the buggy were headed south when the Sierra rear-ended the buggy.

Injured were 65-year-old Christopher Yoder of Fort Scott, 43-year-old Willard Yoder, and a 6-year-old juvenile girl.

All three were taken to a Joplin hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the GMC, 60-year-old Carol Adamson of Fort Scott, was not injured.
