A woman accused of driving drunk when she struck a man who later died has pleaded not guilty.

Jordan Arevalo is charged in connection with an Aug. 23, 2025, crash on Route J near Golden in Barry County.

Authorities say Arevalo hit 30-year-old Jake Dimello, who suffered serious injuries and later died.

Court documents allege Arevalo had been drinking before the crash.

A breath test showed a blood alcohol level of 0.142%.

Arevalo has pleaded not guilty and is currently out of custody.

A wrongful-death lawsuit connected to the case was also filed in Barry County a couple of weeks ago.
