Sarcoxie murder-suicide under investigation

A couple from Sarcoxie, Missouri, is dead after a suspected murder-suicide.

The Jasper County Sheriff's Office says that at approximately 8:42 AM, they was dispatched to a home in reference to two deceased people.

At the scene, the bodies of David S. Harrison, 62, and Aleasha Harrison, 58, husband and wife, were located inside.

Investigation into the incident indicates that David shot Aleasha and then shot himself.

The Sarcoxie Police Department continues to assist with the investigation.
