While Congress has limited powers when it comes to investigations.

Southwest Missouri Congressman Eric Burlison tells Newstalk KZRG:

“I want to make sure people understand what Congress's authority and power is. We do not have the judicial power. We do not have the ability to prosecute anyone. What we do have is the authority to investigate and then refer that information to the Department of Justice and hope and expect them to do something with it.”

Burlison continued:  “So I think that we've done our job, particularly with the Clintons. We now have some more people that are coming forward that we're inquiring of or subpoenaing, including Howard Lutnick is coming forward.”

Both Hillary and Bill Clinton’s evidence has been referred to the Justice Department and now we wait.

According to Congressman Eric Burlison:

“I'm frustrated with the Department of Justice and in that office as much as anybody, probably even more so than everybody. But yeah, you can't push a wet noodle.  Or you can only push it so much. So that's the deal that we've been dealt with.”
