Missouri is one of only two states that do not live stream Senate floor proceedings.

Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger on the KZRG Morning Newswatch highlighted that 48 out of 50 states live stream these sessions:

“I think the grassroots want it. You know, the media would like to get it. Even the, you know, people who are lobbyists come in. They come in once a week and don't know what's going on the rest of the week. The maintenance workers, you know, come in. We've always wondered what was going on up in that chamber.”

A resolution by Senator Mike Moon aims to introduce live streaming within the next week or 10 days.

This change is expected to boost transparency, reduce dysfunction, and increase public and media access to Senate activities.
