Traffic accident kills man from Anderson

An accident on Missouri 76, just 300 feet west of the Anderson city limits around 10:45 Tuesday morning took the life of a man from that community.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 75-year-old man from Anderson, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. It was Missouri Highway Patrol Troop D's 8th fatality for 2026.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol does not identify the names of accident victims.
