There is talk of getting rid of the state income tax in Missouri.
How would this affect running the government?
State senator Jill Carter told the KZRG morning Newswatch
“We've got to rein things in. We're seeing cuts at the federal level which like we just mentioned we almost get half of our funds from the federal government. So navigating this the next couple of years is going to be really tricky.”
