Accidental discharge of a firearm.
The Anderson, Missouri, Police Department is investigating the death of a Neosho elementary school teacher over the weekend.
Officers say on Sunday they responded to 305 West Main Street in reference to a reported accidental discharge of a firearm.
Upon arrival, they located 28-year-old Annie Strickling-Ganes, unconscious with an apparent gunshot wound.
Also at the residence was a male subject, identified as Gavyn Crawford.
Officers rendered aid to Strickling-Ganes, who was transported to a Joplin hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
