Two Arrested in Stolen Vehicle Recovery in Jane, Missouri

On December 26, 2025, at approximately 10:38 a.m., deputies with the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office received a tip regarding the possible location of a stolen vehicle.

Deputies responded to the Walmart parking lot in Jane, Missouri, where they located a 1993 Dodge Dakota that had been reported stolen out of Barry County approximately 19 hours earlier.

During the investigation, deputies took two individuals into custody, later identified as Justin Frazier and Bobbie Story. Story was observed walking toward the vehicle before noticing law enforcement presence, while Frazier was located inside the Walmart.

Both individuals were transported to the McDonald County Jail and charged with Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree.
