Man from Purdy injured in Monday accident in Barry County
One man suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident around 5:08 p.m. on Monday on Highway 37 in Purdy, Missouri.

One man suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident around 5:08 p.m. on Monday on Highway 37 in Purdy, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a westbound 1998 Ford Expedition driven by a 69-year-old male from Purdy failed to yield to a northbound 2003 Kenworth Truck driven by a 27-year-old man from Monett.
The driver of the Ford suffered serious injuries.
He was transported by Barry-Lawrence county Ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol does not release the names of individuals involved in traffic accidents.
