Missouri Southern to host 85th Commencement Ceremony on Dec. 13

JOPLIN, Mo. — Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) will celebrate the Fall 2025 graduating class during its 85th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at the Taylor Performing Arts Center Auditorium on the MSSU campus.

The university will hold two ceremonies:

• 10 a.m. — College of Arts and Sciences; College of Business, Communication, and Technology; and Bachelor of General Studies.
• 2 p.m. — College of Health, Life Sciences and Education; and Bachelor of Applied Sciences.

The event will honor the accomplishments of MSSU’s Fall 2025 graduates as they receive their degrees and prepare for the next chapter in their personal and professional lives. Tickets are not required for guests as seating is open. Also, the ceremony will be livestreamed on MSSU’s YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.
