Arrest made in burglary investigation: Operation Timeless Justice

On December 3, 2025, an arrest was made and stolen vintage items were recovered following a burglary investigation.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office has recovered thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen vintage items and arrested a suspect following an investigation into a burglary reported on November 26th.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division initiated an investigation after the victim reported a significant loss of collectible vintage items.

Through the efforts of lead investigator Detective Metscher, a suspect was identified as Samantha Oxford, 34, of Joplin.

As part of Operation Timeless Justice, detectives executed a search warrant at Oxford’s residence located at 1612 S. Pearl Ave., Joplin, Missouri.

During the search, detectives recovered most of the items reported stolen in the burglary. Oxford also admitted to selling some of the stolen items prior to law enforcement contact.

Oxford was taken into custody and booked on the following charges:

*  Burglary in the 2nd Degree (Three Counts)
*  Possession of a Controlled Substance
*  Felony Stealing
