Arvest Bank to host drop-in event with mortgage lenders

JOPLIN, Mo. – Arvest Bank is hosting a financial education drop-in event on Friday, Dec. 5, at select Joplin branches where the public can visit with mortgage lenders and ask any questions they have about their homeownership journey.
Open to both non-customers and customers, attendees can enjoy cookies and hot cocoa while speaking directly with a mortgage lender and gaining valuable insights about the homebuying process, refinancing options, and overall mortgage literacy.
“We’re very excited to offer this unique opportunity to our community, providing guidance in a low-pressure, drop-in setting,” said Sheila Whitehead, mortgage loan manager for Arvest Bank – Joplin Region. “We understand that the housing market still has many homeowners and would-be buyers wondering what the best next step is for them. Our hope is that this event will provide them with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss options at a high level.”
Mortgage lenders will be available between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Dec. 5, at the following Arvest locations:
· 701 S. Main, Joplin
· 2023 E. 32nd St., Joplin
· 402 S. Range Line, Joplin
· 425 W. Central Ave., Carthage
