CPKC Holiday Train stops in Joplin: Smash Mouth, J.J. Wilde perform

The Canadian Pacific KC Holiday Train chugged onto the tracks Saturday afternoon outside Joplin's Union Depot.

Despite cold rain and blustery weather, a large crowd turned out to see performances by Smash Mouth and Canadian recording artist J.J. Wilde.

Most of the people on hand were dressed in overcoats and raincoats.

Some were holding umbrellas.

"It was worth it," one member of the crowd said, in reference to braving the weather.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Holiday Train stopped in Pittsburg.
