What’s open, what’s closed on Veterans Day

(Missourinet) – Missouri and the U.S. are saluting military veterans on this Veterans Day. 

Missouri will honor U.S. military veterans today with Veterans Day ceremonies and events around the state. Residents are encouraged to check local listings for events in their communities.

Most state and federal offices will be closed in observance of the holiday; only essential services will be operating, such as prisons and state troopers. The post office will not be delivering mail today.

Stock markets will be open but bond markets will be closed. Expect several banks to have the day off.
