One-vehicle accident injures woman in Greene County

A 70-year-old woman from Fair Grove, Missouri was seriously injured in a traffic accident at 2:40 p.m. Monday afternoon on Farm Road 235, one mile east of Fair Grove in Greene County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 2009 Buick LaCrosse driven by the women traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned.

The woman was transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

She was wearing a safety device.
