2023 Polaris runs off road; driver injured

A driver was injured in the crash of a 2023 Polaris XP around 12:47 p.m. Monday in McDonald County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred on Patterson Creek Road, about 5 miles west of Anderson.

The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver, an 18-year-old man from Anderson.

He suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Joplin.

The Highway Patrol does not release the names of accident victims.
