Charges upgraded in Joplin Halloween night pedestrian accident
A man from Joplin now faces a felony charge after he was allegedly under the influence of marijuana when he hit a woman with his car on Halloween night.
49-year-old Chad A. Davis even admitted it was “incredible” that he only struck one woman while he was behind the wheel.
The victim, Mejia Gonzalez, suffered three broken vertebrae and had to get stitches in the back of her head after the accident.
