Toys for Tots Poker Run Set For Nov. 1

If you’re getting that itch to do something nice for someone this holiday season, that time is gearing up as Trackside Custom Cycles holds its inaugural Marine Corps Toys For Tots Run and Poker Run on November 1.
“We’re just thrilled to help the community and to help the less fortunate and just to give back,” Davis Renick, owner of Trackside Custom Cycles said. “That’s what this is all about.”
Registration starts at 1 p.m. that day of the event, but you are encouraged to show up early. Participants can bring a toy valued at $20 or just bring a $20 donation to Trackside Custom Cycle located at 1420 Oneida St in Seneca.
Kickstands are up at 1 p.m. with the run starting at Trackside Custom Cycles before stopping at Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2410, Razor’s Edge Tactical and VFW Joplin before ending at Track 94 Brewery in Seneca.
“You get to meet a lot of new people and get to see a lot of really nice bikes,” Renick added. “It’s just very fulfilling to be able to drop off a toy and know it’s going to a good cause. Knowing where it’s going, knowing it’s staying in the community, then just being able to ride with the pack. You know, a lot of people, they don’t get to feel the rumble of all the other bikes around you, where you’re actually getting to go down, go down the road with 100 plus bikes and everybody pulling over and knowing that you guys are sporting something good. The feeling is just unmistakable.”
