Trick or Treat in downtown Carthage!

Vision Carthage is inviting the community to trick or treat downtown during the annual Treats on the Square event taking place from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.

Downtown businesses will be handing out candy to children while Carthage Technical Center students assist with directing traffic, providing a safe and historic space for families to make sweet, new traditions.

Butterball is providing free hot dogs and over 2,000 pumpkins for families to paint or take home to carve.

“We love seeing hundreds of families come together for Treats on the Square on Halloween,” said Sally Stuart, Co Director of Vision Carthage.

“It’s just a nice opportunity for our local businesses to connect with customers and enjoy seeing
a variety of costumes on display.”

This event is free and open to the public.
