Person of interest arrested in connection with northeast Arkansas deaths

Authorities in Paragould in northeast Arkansas have arrested a fugitive wanted for questioning in the killings of two women .

Jacob Lowell Smith was arrested in Paragould Tuesday night.

Smith is a person of interest in the deaths of Tonya Stallings, 54, and Ashley Stallings, 33, both of Ash Flat, Arkansas.

Deputies found the two shot dead in their home on October 21st.

No charges filed against Smith in connection with the deaths at this time.

He was taken into custody on a parole violation.
