Integris Hospitals in Grove and Miami now offering 3D mammograms

INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital and INTEGRIS Health Miami Hospital are proud to offer 3D mammograms, the latest in breast cancer screening technology. This innovative service is now available at multiple INTEGRIS Health locations across Oklahoma, offering patients a more accurate, earlier way to detect breast cancer, potentially saving lives with every scan.
3D mammograms use advanced imaging technology to create a detailed, three-dimensional picture of the breast, allowing radiologists to examine breast tissue layer by layer. This improved clarity makes it easier to detect small tumors and reduces the likelihood of false positives, especially for women with dense breast tissue.
“Our goal is simple: catch cancer earlier, when it’s most treatable,” said Haley Adams, D.O., with INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Grand Lake General Surgery. “3D mammography provides clearer images, leading to better detection and fewer callbacks for additional testing. It’s a game-changer for women’s health.”
According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Early detection remains the most powerful tool in fighting the disease, and 3D mammograms have been proven to detect up to 40% more invasive breast cancers than traditional 2D mammography.
INTEGRIS Health 3D Mammography Benefits:
More accurate detection of breast abnormalities
Fewer unnecessary callbacks and biopsies
Improved imaging for women with dense breast tissue
Fast, comfortable and non-invasive screening process
Appointments for 3D mammograms are available now and can be scheduled without a referral for women 40 and older. Most insurance plans, including Medicare, cover 3D mammography.
