Major construction at Missouri Southern on the Welcome Center - Roy Blunt Health Sciences building.
Wednesday, a construction tour was held for the MSSU Board of Governors.
Department Chair Dr. Sherry Whiteman tells KZRG what this new building will mean to students:
“We really have the space and we really have the equipment to support a true flipped classroom, to really immerse those students even more than we do now, you know, to the level that we know that they need and that we want them to have. And that's really what's transforming.”
This tour offered a behind-the-scenes look at the construction of this exciting new facility.
The MSSU Board of Governors were also in attendance during the tour.
$48.2 million dollars is the estimated cost for the new building.
