Two injured by watercraft on Pomme de Terre Lake

The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating an incident that injured two swimmers on Pomme de Terre Lake in the west-central Ozarks.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The Patrol says two swimmers noticed an operator of a personal watercraft circling their dog in the water.
They say that this led to a verbal argument. Investigators say the operator of the watercraft hit the two swimmers, then left.
One swimmer suffered serious injuries. The other suffered minor injuries.
The investigation continues.
