Shoal Creek Monarch Festival

The Shoal Creek Monarch Festival and Native Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Shoal Creek Conservation Education Center.

It's a free event hosted by the Missouri Department of Conservation and will feature educational tables about monarch butterflies, and activities for learning about monarch migration and habitats.

Native plants will be available for purchase from vendors like Missouri Wildflower Nursery and Ozark Soul Native Plants, who can also provide planting advice, and help you discover which native plants are beneficial for monarch butterflies and provide essential habitat.
