Missouri Lottery awaits Powerball winner

Missourinet – No one has stepped forward yet to claim a Powerball jackpot prize that was sold in Missouri for the September 6th drawing win of 1-point-87 billion-dollars.

The Missouri Lottery says the ticket was sold at a QuikTrip in St. Louis. The ticket is one of two jackpot winning tickets sold for last weekend’s drawing. The other was sold in Texas. The jackpot prize is the second-largest in U.S. lottery history. Wendy Brown, with the Missouri Lottery, tells Missourinet the winner has until March 5th to come forward.
