Carl Junction Mayor Mike Moss impeached by Board of Aldermen

Carl Junction Mayor Mike Moss was removed from office after the Board of Aldermen voted to convict him on all four impeachment articles Thursday night.

Current and former city employees testified about a hostile workplace, alleging harassment that impacted their mental health and morale.

The board declared the mayor’s seat vacant, with plans to appoint a temporary replacement until a special election in April.
