Missouri law enforcement honored for bravery, detective work

Several Missouri law enforcement officers are being honored for their crime fighting efforts. 

The Guardian of Justice award is going to six local and federal law enforcement officers, including officers who thwarted a threat against US border patrol at the US Mexico border, during which one suspect fired shots at FBI agents as they executed a search warrant.

A man from Warsaw Missouri and a 2nd man from Tennessee were convicted of multiple charges in that case last year. 

The SW Missouri agencies from Springfield were cited for their extensive detective work to track down suspects in the violent crimes.
