Motorcycles collide in Dade County; two riders injured, one seriously

Two people were injured, one seriously, when two motorcycles collided Saturday afternoon on Route E, 8 miles north of Golden City in Dade County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2016 Harley Davidson, operated by a 46-year-old man from Liberal, Missouri turned into the path of a 1996 Guillotine Chopper operated by a 67-year-old man from Lamar.

Both cycles overturned and both riders were ejected.

The man from Liberal had moderate injuries. He was taken to a Joplin Hospital.

The man from Lamar had serious injuries. He was Med-Flighted to Cox South in Springfield.
