Missouri gas tax refunds soaring

The state has paid out more than $850-thousand dollars in gas tax refunds. 

Department of Revenue Director Trish Vincent says they’ve had more than 8,000 applications for the refunds, and the average is just over 100-dollars. 

Trish Vincent told KZRG:  “Missourians have until the end of next month to apply at dor.mo.gov, there’s a refund form. It’s 4923. You can submit it to the Department of Revenue.”

Vincent says they’ve had some fraudulent applications come in, but they’ve been able to reject those. Receipts must be between July 1st 2024 to June 30th 2025.
