Toddler drowns at Lake of the Ozarks

A tragic drowning at the Lake of the Ozarks has taken the life of a two-year-old girl.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened around 10:30 Wednesday morning after a toddler wandered away from home and was discovered face-up in the water

The two year old was from Gravois Mills in Morgan County.

She was transported to Lakes Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
