Man from Cassville arrested for four counts of sexual misconduct involving a child

On June 27, 2025, the Barry County Sheriff’s Office received a request to assist the Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division with a reported sexual misconduct involving a child.

During the initial investigation, law enforcement authorities recovered a note Nathan Easley had written wherein he confessed to molesting his younger sister.  Based on the findings, law enforcement authorities scheduled a forensic interview at a Child Advocacy Center to occur on 07/02/2025.

During the forensic interview, the victim disclosed that Easley had woken her up while she was sleeping, stood in front of her, and exposed his penis as he, told her to look at it. The victim stated Easley exposed his penis to her on four (4) separate occasions and that each incident made her feel uncomfortable.

Nathan Easley, 25 years old from Cassville, MO was taken into custody on 08/07/2025 on four counts of Sexual Misconduct involving a child. Easley is currently in the Barry County Jail with a $100,000 bond.
