Fatal Crash Car And Bicycle in Joplin

Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash Saturday night around 9:45 P.M. involving a car and bicycle just west of Black Cat Road on 7th Street.

A 2010 Honda Accord, driven by a 20 year old woman from Galena struck a 63 year old man westbound on a bicycle.

He was pronounced at the scene. Next of kin have been notified.

This is Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D’s 75th fatality this year.
