Lady Norse basketball legend Rosalind Ross named member of NEO Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025

MIAMI, Okla. – Lady Norse basketball legend Rosalind Ross has been named a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025 at Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College (NEO).

Ross made her mark on NEO history as a dynamic scorer and team leader from 1999 to 2000. A two-time NJCAA All-American, she averaged 17.1 points per game and set a school record for three-pointers made, helping lead the Lady Norse to a 4th-place finish at the 2000 NJCAA National Tournament.

Following her standout NEO career, Ross transferred to the University of Oklahoma, where she was a key contributor to the 2001 NCAA National Runner-Up team and earned Big 12 All-Tournament Team honors for her postseason performance.

In 2002, Ross fulfilled a lifelong dream when the Los Angeles Sparks selected her 16th overall in the first round of the WNBA Draft. Though a knee injury prevented her from playing professionally, her legacy as one of the most gifted players in Lady Norse history remains strong.

She will be formally inducted during NEO’s Hall of Fame Weekend, September 12–13, 2025.
