Hit-and-run driver sought following collision

At approximately 3:01 a.m. on August 9, 2025, officers responded to a vehicle crash in the 300 block of E. Central Ave.

A GMC Sierra struck an Infiniti sedan before crashing into a building. Multiple occupants of the Infiniti were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.

The driver of the GMC Sierra fled the scene before officers arrived and has not been located. Evidence was recovered from the vehicle, and the investigation is ongoing.
